The Kia Sportage holds 6.2% of the North Macedonian market in July.
Based on data by our Eastern European partner CE Auto, the North Macedonian new car market drops a heft -23.8% year-on-yea win July to just 484 units, leading to a year-to-date volume off -5.9% to 3.090 sales. There are two equal-#1 models this month: the Fiat Tipo (+36.4%) and Kia Sportage (+150%) both at 6.2% share. That’s well above the third-ranked Toyota Corolla (-21.7%). Note the Tipo breaks into the YTD Top 10 as a result at #10. The VW Polo, now up to #6 year-to-date, follows ahead of the Toyota Yaris and Peugeot 208 while the Toyota C-HR post a rare Top 10 finish at #6. The VW Tiguan for its part is among the 10 best-selling models in North Macedonia for the first time.
