According to data communicated by Central European market data specialists www.ceauto.co.hu, 397 new cars found a buyer in the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia in April, adding up to 1,363 units so far in 2014. We have a very volatile models sales charts here, with the Ford Fiesta up from #10 in March to #1 this month thanks to 28 sales and 7.1% share, ahead of the Skoda Rapid at 26 units and 6.5%. This means the Rapid passes the VW Golf to become the country’s best-seller year-to-date and it makes the FYR of Macedonia the first country in the world to crown the Rapid year-to-date. Notice also the Toyota Aygo up to #3, the Hyundai i30 up to #4, Fiat Linea up to #5, the Dacia Duster – leader over the past couple of months – down to #9 and the Opel Antara reappearing in the Top 10 at #10.
