Based on data communicated by Central European market data specialists www.ceauto.co.hu, 392 new cars found a buyer in the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia in June, adding up to 2,112 units year-to-date. Pretty interesting milestone this month in the country: thanks to 28 sales and 7.1% share, the Skoda Rapid overtakes the VW Golf to lead the year-to-date ranking (112 units and 5.3% vs. 106 and 5%), making the FYR of Macedonia the first country in the world to crown the Skoda Rapid year-to-date. Skoda also places the Octavia in 2nd position this month. Notice also the Hyundai ix35 up to #4, the Fiat Linea at #7, Citroen C1 at #8 and Toyota Corolla at #9.
